The Office of the Surgeon General (OSG) Division of the Civilian Volunteer Medical Reserve Corps (DCVMRC) has defined a core or defined set of skills that every MRC volunteer should be able to perform. 

The Core Competencies Fact Sheet and Matrix outline these skills in more detail. 

Volunteers should check with their local MRC unit leaders or visit MA Responds to learn about course offerings in their area or online.
