Training

The Massachusetts Training Committee has developed two documents for MA MRC units.  To view these documents, please click here.

A Training Repository is also available to share courses and presentations with other MRC leaders.  Please email Regan Checchio if you would like to share a course or presentation prepared by your MRC unit.

Core Competencies represent the baseline level of knowledge and MRC volunteers should have, regardless of their roles within an MRC unit.  For more information about the federally developed core competencies, please click here.

Nancy Burns from the Upper Merrimack Valley MRC also participated in a national working group on mass casualty incidents. Dr. Heather Shover presented their findings at the 2006 Leadership Conference. For Ms. Burns' report of this talk, please click here.
